Now, where do I start? Oh yeah, my excuse for my long absense. That's easy. A year ago in November, I got my driver's liscense and ever since then as the old song goes.. "On the Road again". Commuting to work, play, etc. First I started out with my dad's old van, that died, and now I have a nice Hyundai Tucson. Second, is work. Ugh, that's getting in the way but I need it if I'm going to pay for my expenses. Just recently, I was working five out of the seven days, at my store location in my town, until my boss told me that budget cuts took out fifty hours from our store, dropping me from thirty four hours a week to twenty eight. I told him I needed more than thirty because I'm enrolled in health benefeits. He appologized and did not realize that I was enrolled, so I asked if another store location, same company, had hours. Low and behold another store only ten minutes away from me needed someone to cover the night hours on Tuesdays, which is one of my days off in my store. Now, I only have one day off, and that's Thursday.
As for my comic book series. Well, that too, is getting a face lift. As you know I'm on Drunk Duck and Smach Jeeves and haven't posted anything for a long time. I came to realize that the first book needs a face lift, and instead of doing a series of comic books, I'm considering putting the first volume into a graphic novel instead. Full color fully refurbished. I'm going to send the script to my writer, and good friend who has done a fantastic job at writing and I'm going to let him rewrite the entire script from scratch. Yes, CZK will come back better than ever. It'll be a while but it will come back. As for the web comic, I'll be writing a series of short stories for that. One is in the works now. So, hang tight, I will be returning to Drunk Duck and Smack Jeeves with a series of short stories that will keep the readers entertained. That's it for now. Update done. See you in the funny papers.
